Gavin’s professional journey has featured experiences in bricklaying, joinery, and scaffolding. His career path took a significant turn in 2019 when he earned a remarkable 1st class degree in Building Surveying, paving the way for his entry into WCP as a Graduate Building Surveyor. Since then, Gavin’s dedication and expertise have propelled him to attain Chartered Building Surveyor status with the RICS which Gavin feels is his greatest accomplishment yet and is a testament to his growth within the industry.
Since joining WCP, Gavin has played a pivotal role in diverse projects, spanning from the refurbishment of individual dwellings to the management of expansive housing development sites. Gavin’s role allows him the opportunity to engage with a wide array of projects, spanning public sector, residential, and commercial properties.
Looking forward, his aspirations centre around becoming an Access Consultant, dedicated to ensuring that buildings are universally accessible to all, reflecting his commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Beyond work, Gavin’s desire for personal development doesn’t stop, enriching his technical knowledge through reading. Gavin’s curiosity doesn’t end there as he also nurtures an interest in astrophysics. These activities epitomise his approach to growth and personal learning, encapsulating a well-rounded, forward-thinking professional.
