Gordons spent early working life building his family paint company [Johnstone’s Paints] into a National Paint Company. Of which he became Operations Director in the latter years before selling the company in 1995. Gordon moved into developing and building houses within the local area. During the recession Gordon joined Crosby homes before moving to Bellway homes and onto Kier. These days Gordon works part – time for Wilkinson Cowan Partnership as a Clerk of Works
Personal
For his sins Gordon has been a season ticket holder at Manchester United for over 30 years. Since reducing his working week to part time hours Gordon has more time on his hands to take his two Dogs out for long walks. Gordon enjoys having coffee and reading the papers in the local café. Over the years Gordons family has grown with two children in their 30s
and 3 grandchildren life can be busy especially during the days Gordon and his wife take on babysitting duties.
