Derek Humphreys

Derek has been engaged in the industry since 1976 and in that period has gained broad and in depth experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Employer’s Agent and Principal Designer in Private Practice and in Contracting, holding Director positions in both.
His experience has included commercial, industrial, educational, hospitals/general health facilities, sports and social housing with Local Authorities and Housing Associations. All these sectors have also involved new build, refurbishment & regeneration projects.
Personal
Away from the office Derek has also held a Non-Executive Director and Volunteer Director role in a major UK Charitable Organisation advising and supporting in Project Management of major multi-million pound projects.
He also chaired their Governing body managing their Property and Conferencing Portfolio throughout the UK.
Derek is a family man who enjoys looking after his grandchildren, art exhibitions and walking his dogs.
